WHO ARE WE?
Interlude first started back in 2020 when a friend and Aaron were participating in a Zoom quiz during lockdown. At that time, amidst the uncertainty brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, the musical theatre industry was in a state of flux. Aaron casually asked his friend,
"What do you think about starting a choir?"
he immediately said - “Yes."
With just one tweet, which garnered 80,000 views & 2,351 retweets, 534 self-tape submissions later, the idea for Interlude was born.
|We carefully selected 20 individuals to join our choir towards the end of the lockdown, and rehearsals soon commenced. This journey eventually led us to a sold-out concert in Covent Garden and a memorable takeover night in Soho.
Interlude serves as a valuable opportunity for performers who currently find themselves without work. It enables them to keep their harmony skills sharp, build vocal endurance, and experience the joy of performing as part of an ensemble.

Interlude has developed into a welcoming community that extend far beyond singing together once a week. Come and experience the camaraderie for yourself!
Performances
We work towards amazing and unforgettable performances at the end of term with West End musical directors accompanying us on the night

Most recently we sold out the Actors Church in Covent Garden raising money for Muscular Dystrophy UK.
